timescales MS project 2002

Richard Lynn

I have a problem when setting up a new project. i format
the timescale to months on the middle line and weeks on
the bottom line. when i enter a task with a duration of
25 days and it is to begin on July 1, 2003 it shows it
ending in the middle of october which is about 50 days. i
tried to force the start date to July 1, 2003 and the end
date to Aug 13, 2003 and when i do that the program
calculates the duration at 10.33 days. it's like the
program thinks the days are only 3 or 4 hours long.

i have checked the working time and non working time and
they appear normal. i even reloaded the software thing
maybe it got corrupted.

can anyone helpp?
