Timesheet and resource not there

Hello,

Is it possible (for the Project Manager) to enter some Actual work in the
Timesheet of an absent resource ?

Thanks

Yes. If you are not using managed time periods, it's easy: The PM updates
the resource's assignments in Project Pro, using the Resource Usage view to
enter actual work. Then, the PM republishes assignments for the selected
resource, checking the box to overwrite actuals entered by the resource.

You could also give the PM permission to Adjust Actuals (in PWA). After
adjusting actuals, the PM then approves and updates the adjustments in the
Updates area of PWA.

Reid,
Do you say that if the PM has the permission to Adjust Actuals (in PWA)
he/she can adjust Actuals in the resource Timesheet ?

Not exactly. He doesn't actually use the resource's timesheet. He does it
in the Adjust Actuals submenu of the Resource Center.

The end result is the same.
