Timesheet approval on Web Access Home page

After reading "Managing Enterprise Projects" by Chefetz and Howard, (book I
recommend), it shows a timesheet approval area on the home page. I have
full permissions set and my Web access is set to Managed Time periods and all
I see is Updates, Tasks, Risks, and Issues. What am I missing to get the
timesheet approval on my homepage?

Yes, I've tried being in all groups, I've tried other permutations
including not being in the resource group, I get the same outcome.

Have you created an RBS outline code field that mimics your organization's
reporting structure, and have you populated a value from this field for
every resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool. Doing so will show Project
Server "who reports to whom" and sets up whose timesheets your can approve.

Yes, I set up a RBS (Enterprise ~~OutlineCode30) 5 levels. I set myself as
level 2 and all subordinates 3 and 4. It was not well documented on what to
do after that. I played around in the Manage security area, allowing
everything, still could not get the Timesheet on the Web Access Home page.

Tim,

What happens when you click on your updates menu? Do you see the approval
screen for submitted time?

Yes, the updates work. I just found the problem. In Web Access, Server
Conf. page, somehow the features under Tasks had the Approve Timesheets set
to deny, which I think is the default. Upto this point, I have been looking
at the User's permission area.
