Timesheet cubes - one is broken?

I looked at the three new Timesheet cubes for Project Server 2007. Two of
them work great: "Timesheet" and "EPM Timesheet". The other one,
"MSP_Project_Timesheet" does not work. When I drop Timesheet Period into the
PivotTable, no periods are displayed. All periods are displayed in the first
two cubes.

Is this a bug or am I missing some configuration step to get this to work?
This reminds me of a similar issue with the new Issues cube - I had to create
an Issue and then republish the project to get the Issue to appear in the
cube.

Hi jay,

First to your second question, yes you have to publish your project before
Risks or Issues will appear the cube ( dont like this either, but thats how
it is)

Secondly, in regards to your Cube. have you checked if the cube was actually
build? ( in Analysis Services) If it was build, I would check if you have an
error in your Server log. This usually gives you an indicator if there is an
error. You can also check in PWA > Server Settings Under Cube build, if you
have any error message there.
BUT also, a cube in Project Server 2007 willl only build once you actually
have values, Can you please ensure that you have values that the OLAP Cube
can process.
I hope this helps.

I wasn't clear with my question. I should not have mentioned the Risks and
Issues cubes. I have no problems there.

Try building a view based on the MSP_Project_Timesheet cube. When I tried
that, I could not see any Timesheet Periods when I dragged that field into
the pivot table area.

I successfully built a view based on the Timesheet cube. There my timesheet
periods show up just fine. This makes me think that there is a bug in the
code that creates the MSP_Project_Timesheet cube.

Hi Jay,

generally I would think that the timesheet cube would also work. Have you
approved the time you entered as well?
I must admit I am not 100% percent familiar how all cubes are build just
yet, but I will play with it and come back with some feedback. ( Please dont
mind if it takes a couple of days, since I am on holiday :)
Thanks

No problem. Take a look when you get a chance.

Note that when you build a Data Analysis view, you have three
timesheet-related cubes to choose from: Timesheet, EPM Timesheet, and
MSP_Project_Timesheet. The last of these is a composite cube.
