Timesheet Data

Sorry we are using 2007 version. How does it handle the seperation of
timesheet vs task data?

Gary:

What gets deleted with the project plan is any actual work that is stored in
the Project file. This also causes actual work to be deleted in the analyzer
cube as this data is now removed from the system. However, the timesheet
data remains in tact. In 2007, this information is stored in separate tables
that do not have any association with the project files.

If you have a project that you have worked on, the preferred method is to
archive rather than fully delete.

Gary,

Thanks for the reply. How do you archieve a project instead of deleting it?
Does a project manager have rights to do this or does it need to be done by
an admin?

Gary,

Thanks for the reply. We have the a daily backup to run every day. I
assume that this is the same as running the administrative backup as long as
we don't have any changes to the schedule the day we delete it. We normally
don't delete a schedule until the project is cmpletely closed out.
