Timesheet dates

Buzzy

When our resources enter their time, and export the time to Excel, to create
hard copies of their timesheets, the date field is formatted as "Sun 1". What
changes need to be made in order to format the date as "1/1"?

In the PWA Timesheet view, some dates across the top are in "Sun 1" format,
and some are in "3/15" format, in different pay periods.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Brian

In the future, please post your Project Server questions to the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is shutting
down.

To answer your question, the formatting of dates at the top of the timesheet
in PWA is controlled by the length of the reporting period displayed on the
timesheet. If a one-week reporting period is applied (Sunday through
Saturday), then the date headers will show the "Sun 1" formatting. If the
user clicks the View Options tab and specifies a reporting period longer
than one week, then the date headers show the "1/1" format. Therefore, each
user can control this individually. The default length of a reporting
period is set by the Project Server administrator, however. Hope this
helps.
