Hello: Is there a way to sync the timesheet manager field with a field (
manager) in active directory?

FYI, even with custom code, I would not be sure that it would work currently
as I have heard of some issues with the PSI methods that update the
Timesheet Manager and Default Assignment Owner fields. Maybe something they
are working to fix in SP1.

That would explain why import and AD synch do not handle the default
assignment owner well. Remember, I said it would take code, but I didn't
necessarily promise that it would work through the PSI.<vbg> This one is
simple enough that a SQL query might work. Of course touching the published
database is forbidden, but it hasn't stopped us before.
