This is a bug.
You should contact microsoft support.

By the way, the fix for this won't help if you have used a
SQL Server in spanish (I don't know for the rest of
languages). It works with SQL server in english.

and that period gets closed off shouldn't the alert go
away?? Currently all previous periods are closed and only
current dates are open, but it keeps saying timesheet not
submitted for the following dates

But I have already loaded KB830820, I know that is a bug, is this the same one you are talking about?
