Hi,
We are trying to deal with timesheets in MS Project 2003; If someone has some general recommandations about project updates, actuals, overtime...
For example how can we implement the following scenario
A project manager creates a 5 days tas
Development manager assigns 1 developer on that tas
Developer completes the task in 4 days, enters his time in the timesheet and works 1 day on another projec
Development manager approves that time spen
Project Manager updates the project BUT the duration of the tasks doesn't change.
Another case
Developer is not able to complete the task in 5 days, works the weekend and enters his time in the timeshee
Meaning that we work with fix duration but we track total time spent on tasks and we track over-allocatio
Let me know if it makes sense..
Thanks for your suggestions or idea
