Timesheet Queue - Abnormal or Excessive Load

When saving a timesheet on PWA (Project Server 2007), users have started to
report a dialog box with the following message...

"The Project Server Timesheet Queue is under abnormal and excessive load.
There are numerous jobs in the Queue ahead of yours. Your anticipated wait
time is 179 second(s).

Press OK to continue. Press Cancel to stay on the same page."

However, the queue is empty at the time. The issue seems to be inocuous
because clicking "OK" processes the timesheet immediately with no issues.

Still, its annoying.

I've restarted the queue to no avail.

I've Googled the error text, but there is no mention of it on any forum I
can find including Microsoft Technet and other Project Server support sites.

Any suggestions.

Tony, I have the same problem. Did you allready found a solution?
If I search the internet for this problem, the only thing I found, is your
question on several forums.
