Is there a way to shut off the reminder "your timesheet has not been submitted"

We're using managed timesheet periods, so I know I'm going to get this. I'm ready to pick up my pc and throw it out the window!! Is there a way to turn this prompt off... somewhere in the code? Can I change something in the database to trick project? Is there a patch I havent installed

Please help!
