Timesheet submission notification

Hello,

Is it possible to set-up a notification to the resource Manager to receive
by email when one is resource is submitting a timesheet?


There are many parameters to set this up for the status manager who gets
notified of a project task update in the "Manage My Resources' Alerts and
Reminders ".

In fact with such section title, I was expecting resource manager alerts
setting (ie. Timesheet approval) and not status manager alerts setting (i.e.
task update approval)

There are no alerts available for resource managers in regards to timesheets
submissions and approvals.

If you want this, it would have to be done with some PSI event handlers
after the Save and Submit action.

An easier but less sophisticated option is to send out a scheduled SRS
report email subscription that shows the Timesheet Approvers and the state
of the timesheets. This subscription would best be set up to go to an email
distribution list that is managed centrally. You would only add resource
managers to this distribution list.
