Hi.

Talking about timesheets (again), what are the scenarios for timesheets
clasifications. What are the benefits of this feature?.

I have created two additional classifications or categories and i see that
tasks appears for each category in timesheets. How can i use this?

Thanks,
Wilt

One advantage is that they appear always on the bottom of timesheets under
the line,
Two, they are automatically visible by default to all timesheet users.
Three, a resource can book planned time against them in the future like
vacation for example
Four, depending on the settings you have for the line item, it can actually
block out days booked against a vacation line item and affect the project by
blocking that resource on all tasks in which he/she has booked hours. This
means it affects the scheduling engine similar to putting non working time
in the resource calendar.

One disadvantage is that demand cannot be forcasted against it.

Classifications are similar to admin categories but apply to project
tasks and seem to be fairly limited. The cube will analyse by
classification. By default all project work is set to standard in a
pre-populated timesheet. If you have defined additional
classifications, then when you use the add line function on the
timesheet you can choose to change the classification from Standard.
Clearly this will allow you to distinguish hours charged to the plan
(e.g. some may incur a cost some may be "free-issue").
