Some of the items in SP1 are listed below. There are others which aren't.
There is no release date that I am aware of yet. I don't believe that
applying the hotfix and then the service pack would be an issue if you had
to install the service pack. However, installing service packs should be
done with caution as they are not fully tested like a service pack is. You
will see that by installing a hotfix you get more than one issue addressed
and you should only install hotfixes if they address the issue you are
seeing exactly. I installed this particular one and verified that it fixed
the second issue.
