Timesheets

Steve W.

After our project managers have created their schedules and published all
information, some schedule details change. Although increases or decreases
to task work or duration made by the project managers in MS Project
Professional 2003 show up in resource timesheets (after the new and changed
assignments are published), adjustments to % complete on tasks do not show up
in resource timesheets even though the project manager publishes the new and
changed assignments pursuant to the icon that appears next to the adjusted
task. If a project manager adjusts % complete on a task, is there any way
the assigned resources gets this adjusted task information on their
timesheet? Any help will be appreciated.

Steve:

You must use Collaborate > Publish > Republish on the specific tasks that
your managers update in the plan. Select the overwrite actual work checkbox
in the dialog to push the change to the resource timesheets.
