Timing a slide show

I am an infrequent user of PowerPoint.

I have made previous slide shows that change slides automatically.

This present slide show is set to change after 5 seconds but does not
change from the first slide.

What have I missed?

Problem solved.

I had selected 5 minutes instead of five seconds.
