timing of slide

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have a ppt presentation with 101 slides and I would like to change timing on one slide with out having to change all the slide again

OK, so what's stopping you :)? It's probably easiest in Slide Sorter View -
Select the slide & modify the timing for it in the Transitions dialog.
