title and slide master

I have a newer version of PPT and the menu has changed. I used to be able to
click View/MMaster and then choose between slide master and title master.
However, now there is no title master (even though I have a title page). The
format change i made to the slide master only shows up on the title page.
Confused on the new format. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Some templates do not come with a Title Master built into them. Once in the
Slide Master, click "Insert", "New Title Master".

When I do that "New Title Master" is grey and cannot be clicked. New Slide
Master is in black though.

In "Slide Sorter" view insert a new slide and make the layout of it a Title
slide.
Then, go to "View" "Master" "Slide Master."
I was frustrated too when I couldn't find the Title Master page in PPT2003.
I accidently hit the "Page Down" key on my keyboard, and there was the Title
Master! I could then toggle between the two by hitting the "Page Up" or "Page
Down" keys. Hope this helps.
