Title Line (when creating a Web page from a Word document)

I have a Word document that I am using the "File, Save As,
..html" feature on to create a Web page copy of the document. The
problem is, it is creating a <title></title) tag with a title that I
don't want.

I have searched all the options in Word to find out how I can
change this. It doesn't show up in the Word test, the header, or the
footer.

Can anyone make a suggestion as to how to change the title in
the Word document (I can change the HTML in the Web page, but that
seems to be unnecessary work) every time I turn the updated page into
a new HTML file.

Regards,

Fred

If you set the Title property of your document to what you want, then it
will automatically use that as the Web page's title. Alternatively, if
you want to change it each time, when you go to File -> Save As, after
choosing the Web page file format from the "Save as type" dropdown, a
"Page title" field will appear underneath the filetype. Click the
"Change Title" button to edit the title.

To get to the document properties in Word 2007, click the Office button,
then Prepare, then Properties. Fill in the Title field, close the task
pane, and save. I haven't used Word 2003 in a while, but there's a
similar properties dialog in there somewhere (File -> Document
Properties comes to mind, but I'm not sure...).
