Titled word doc sent as an attatchment sends previous version

When I want to send an email with an MS Word document as an attachment I
select a titled word doc and add it as an attachment. It appears to send the
current version of the attachment BUT when I check what has actually been
sent it is a previous version.

What you have failed to do is to save the document before you send it. My
experience with Outlook is that it uses the saved version not the current on
screen version. This is just opposite to printing which uses the onscreen
version. I've had the same thing happen. Just hit the save icon before
attaching the document.
