To copy a name directly in different places within a *.doc?

Office (Word) 2003:
When I write the name (or a number) I would like this name (or number) to be
repeted automatically further down in a document - like a link that is
updated every time the source (the name or number) is updated with new
information.
Can anybody help me with an easy answer?
