TO DO Bar in Outlook 2007

The scheduled tasks that show up on the right in the To Do Bar have any
number of little colored boxes in them similiar to the category colors. What
are these? Where in HELP would I find that?

They're the categories assigned to the individual items.

That is what I thought, but why so many? I have computer backups scheduled
for each Sunday, and I have 7 squares with 6 different colors in that task.
Why?
