To Do Lists

Hello,

I tried to create a To Do List in Project Web Access 2003 and assigned tasks to myself (with Administrator rights) but I cannot edit my timesheet.

I can edit all my tasks in other projects but not to do list tasks. The only editable field is the %Complete. How do I enable the to do list timesheet.

Also, from to do list, I had to promote it into a project in order to allow me to edit the timesheet. After successfully promoting the project, I tried opening it from project web access and it said, Microsoft Project was unable to find the project --- or project does not exist in the project server.

What's causing this to happen? and is there a workaround solution for this?

To-Do list tasks can only be managed using the % Work Complete method of
tracking and ignore the default method of tracking for project tasks. Thus,
you cannot enable the timesheet method of tracking for your To-Do list
tasks. There is no solution or workaround to this, as this is how To-Do
list tasks function in the system. Sorry.
