To feild Autocomplete problem

We have about 500 users on Outlook 2002. Every few weeks I
get a call that the auto complete feature for the email
addresses stops working. I am talking about the cashed
addresses that outlook keeps in the nk2 file. I do not
have to take any action for the list to start rebuilding;
however it would be nice to be able to tell the users why
this happened, especially when they need an address from
the list.

I know they should have the address in their contacts, but
if you ever worked with end users, you know they don't
always want to do things the right way.

The only documentation I have found explains that the nk2
file will cash up to 1000 addresses. It only says the
feature will work slow when the limit is reached.

Does anyone know why the auto complete seems to clear or
start from scratch after a while?
