Bought new computer with windows 7 home. product key doesnt work. try it
several times. Now trying to upgrade to the pro version. Do I have to

The version of windows has nothing to do with reading office? xp files
Unless you paid extra for Office the preinstalled version its a trial
version.

Whoa - Windows 7 is an operating system, not an application. What are your
"XP files"? I have a feeling you may be about to make a big mistake.
