To open all forms at startup or not....that is the question

So I've been pondering this idea for quite some time and I don't know the
answer. What's the general consensus and for what reasons?

I know forms are quicker to appear since all one would do is set it's visible
property. Is that about the only reason to do this though? My opinion is that
if the form isn't needed, it shouldn't have to be opened. And if time is the
concern, would it not waste time to open all forms (as not visible) on
startup if only a couple are needed in that instance of the database? What
about data integrity? And how about setting form properties, label captions,
command buttons, etc?

Hopefully you all have pondered this too and have some advice about your
answers.

Thanks

IMHO open forms only when needed and only with the records needed. You
generally don't know at startup which records are required to be available
in a form.
