To & Optional Fields Visible

When I create a meeting request in Outlook 2003, the To field is visible but
I need to click the To button in order to see the Optional field. Is there
any way to specifiy Optional attendees directly in the meeting window without
having to open the separate dialog? (We use the Optional field for hundreds
of meetings & it is a tedious extra step.)

What is the scheduling assistant page? I could not find any info in Help.

you can select the type of attendee per attendee if you use the scheduling

Use the "Invite Others" menu button to open the scheduling assistant.
