TOC - formatting question

Hi,

Our TOC level 4 is set up with a dot leader tab at 6.5". However, in a
couple of instances level 4 might only be one word - in which case, the page
number appears at the next tab stop instead of at position 6.5", and has no
dot leader.

I've cleared all tabs except for the one at 6.5". I know Word has default
tabs every .5". How can I get the page number and dot leader to move out to
6.5" in cases where the TOC entry is only one short word?

We are in Word 2002. Does the Jason tab problem still apply?

AFAIK, it applies to all versions of Word.
