TOC wrong when printed

I've two Word 2007 documents, each about 120 pages long. In one of them, the
Table of Contents looks completely correct when viewed on screen, but then
when printed it seems to "get stuck" at about page 80. That is, all of the
entries are there for things after page 80, but they all say they're on page
80 instead of the correct page. Again, though, the TOC is completely correct
when viewed on the screen. The other document works just fine. Have done
the normal F9 stuff to refresh the TOC, but it makes no difference to the way
it prints.

This document used to be a Word 2003 doc, and I never saw anything like
this. Am I running into a bug in Word 2007, or is there some new feature or
option that I should be paying attention to? Help, anyone!?
Thanks.

If you copy the document contents, minus the final paragraph mark and the
TOC, into a new document, can you then create a working TOC?

Note that the task will be easier if you display the paragraph marks (¶) as
well as other nonprinting marks; you can use Ctrl+Shift+8 as a toggle.

Terry and Stefan,
Thank you both for your suggestions. As I'm traveling for a week, I won't
be able to try these until I return. Once back, I'll attempt both
suggestions, and post back here with the outcome.
