Toggle problem between AOL and Outlook

Whenever I toggle between AOL and Outlook, AOL makes it
appear that I am on longer online. The way to fix this is
to logout of AOL and then back in again. I do not have
this problem when I toggle between any other program and
AOL. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestion?
