too big to save

I need to create index for a book with 31 chapters

I started collating all the articles, I was able to create a master document for all 31 articles. However, everythime I tried to save it into PC, the error dialogue pops up and tell me that the file is too big to be saved

I tried to create a master document again, but everytime I tried t
attach 22nd article, the word would not allow me to do this. I was able to collate up to 21st article

Please suggest me, how to create my index.

Well, what is the size of the document you are trying to save? Where are you
trying to save it to? Do you have a different partition you can save it to?

Hi,

Is your system using NTFS or FAT32 for the file system? If FAT32, it has a
file size limit of 4GB and there is no workaround. If your master document
exceeds this file size, you will need to convert the file system to NTFS
first.
