Please help.
I "inherited" a web page and am asked to do some maintenance. At
first, I downloaded everything from the web host.
I am new to Frontpage, but I have done some reading and I think I
understand the purpose of the "special" files like _vti_pvt, _borders,
_themes, etc.
I discovered that some things (like navigation bars, etc) were missing
becasue I did not have the structure.cnf file.
So, I found the original development environment, and lo and behold,
the file is there.
However, after reviewing the file structure, it seems there are a lot
of _vti_pvt along with multiple _borders, _themes, _derived and other
folders, some containing other _themes, and the _themes folders
containing more _vti_cnf folders.
here is a sample:
_borders
|
-->_borders
_derived
|
-->_vti_cnf
_themes
|
-->_vti_cnf
_vti_cnf
|
-->_themes
|
-->_vti_cnf
and on and on...
My question:
how many levels fo these files are necessary? Is this directory
structure totally out of whack???
Thanks
