I've imported and exported and imported again for various
reasons and now I have many duplicate contacts. Can
anyone tell me how I can delete the dupes?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Slipstick site has some free and some not free duplicate
checkers.

"Outlook Duplicates Remover" at the bottom of the list
is free and works quite well:

Every user profile in Outlook consists of many data items such as email messages, contacts, personal folders, etc. With the increase in size of mailbox database, functional errors start taking place which may be due to the presence of duplicate items within the mailbox. But manually removing the duplicacy is a very time-consuming process. For instant removal, a software called Kernel for outlook duplicacy removal can be used. http://www.removeduplicatecontacts.com/

Kernel for Outlook Duplicates is the best tool to remove duplicates and reduce the PST file size instantly. To download the tool visit http://www.removeduplicatecontacts.com/ It gets very easy to manage duplicate items in Microsoft Outlook as these increase the PST file size unnecessarily. The software scans deeply and as it finds some duplicity, it marks them as expired, flag, copy them or delete these items permanently. It has several options to differentiate between slightly similar emails and removing duplicity entirely.
