Too many records to complete this operation

I have Excel 2003 SP2 (Office Pro).

I have a pivot table with 7 columns and 232 rows. I am trying to add one
more column, but it wont. I get an error that reads "Too many records to
complete this operation."

My columns in question are city and state. I can use one or the other, but
not both.

I also have one calculated field weighting the averages in the data area.

Any suggestions?
