Toobar Buttons (2)

TomD

Consider......

1 Open Excel worksheet.
2 Right mouse click on toolbar and select customize
3 Select a button on toobar and right click mouse
4 Select "Change Button Image"..........

Here you will see 42 button images to choose from in a 6
x 7 matrix each with resolution of 16 x 16 pixels.

What I would like to do is to add more images to this 42
image "window"; say 100 in total i.e have a better
choice.

I don't know if this is possible? If so, how do I do this

{Thanks to Earl for previous responses]

You don't need to do this as you can copy any image and paste it onto your
custom button.

Bob,

I can copy existing toolbar buttons and paste to replace
but how do I copy from say, a folder with existing button
images?? The copy and paste function are limited (?) to
current worksheet and images

Tom,

There are tons of icon editors around that will enable you to open a file
and look at the icons, and then copy to the clipboard.A quick search on
Google with 'icon editor shareware' turned up thousands of entries,
including 'Icon Extractor' which is the one I use.

As to your original question, I don't think it can be done.
