Toolbar customizations in outlook 2002

My Outlook 2002 starts with only the standard tool bar.
i am able to bring up the advanced and other toolbars
during a particular outlook session, but when i restart
either outlook or the computer the toolbar additions are
gone. If i customize a particular tool bar when the
computer is restarted or when outlook is restarted the
customizations are also gone. Does anyone know how to
fix this problem. This problem also existed for a short
while in Outlook 2000 (just before i upgraded). I have
removed outlook from my computer and reinstalled several
times. The outlook.pst has been esentially the save for
the entire time.

It could be possible that your outcmd.dat file is corrupted. Rename it to
outcmd.old to completely reset your Toolbar.
