Hi there
Can some pls help -
i have a form with a delete button on the toolbar (not on the form) -
depending on whether a record is assigned to another record - the delete
button becomes enabled/disabled. I originally set the allowdeletion to false
when a user is not allowed to delete information however after testing, i'd
like the delete button to be always available HOWEVER - if a record cant be
deleted then the user is returned a msgbox informing them that they are
unable to delete for the given reason.....(more user friendly etc)
sooo - i know this might sound like a dumb question but where do i code for
the delete button when it's on the toolbar?!
also - can anyone help me out on what type of code i should use - error trap?
dlookup? im so clueless!!
