toolbar icons

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

The new 2008 version took off the cut, copy, paste icons & they are only available by clicking on Edit....I want them on my toolbar. Any way to put them back on? I've searched & searched.....to no avail on how to add them.

Also the icon that allows you to preview your document before printing has also disappeared from toolbar in this new version. I liked those icons.
Where are they?

Hi Louie -

Cut/Copy/Paste/Print Preview are no problem - why they didn't bother to put
them on the Standard toolbar I have no idea, but you can certainly add them
back as well as add them to any other toolbar you wish. I'm not sure where
you've "searched & searched.....to no avail" but yu might try looking in
Word Help on the subject: Customize toolbars and menus

Yes, you can put them any place you like. Read the Help on Customize to see
how.

Or you can use the keystrokes: Command x, Command c, Command v. These mean
you do not even hae to lift your hands from the keyboard.

Cheers
