Toolbar inactive in Portfolio Analyzer (OWC)

Dear All,

When I open Portfolio Analyzer to create a view, the top toolbars are
inactive. Only active button is Refresh.

Also I am unable to drop fields in any area other than data.

It would be great if anyone can give me a solution to resolve this.

Deployment details:
EPM 2003 on Windows 2003 with SQL DB.

Hi

I had the same problem a while ago, and found that the problem was missing
web controls (they were "read only" so to speak). Try installing P2003 on
the computer you wish to create OLAP views from.

When I first select the view type Portfolio Analyzer, I was prompted to
download (from my web access server) and install the Office Web Components.
Is there more needed than that?
I'm having the same problem even after installing the Office Web Components.

Dear JBM,

In order to create a view you need to have a valid license of Office 2002/
2003 based on your OWC versions. Else, it will show only a non-editable view.

Thanks for the info, but I'm sure I'm following the licensing issue...

All my products are Enterprise Editions. On the desktop are MS Office XP
Professional, MS Project Professional 2002, and just installed from the web
server is MS Office 2003 Web Components.

Which license needs to be checked? The web server?
Or is having just MS Office 2003 Web Components not enough? and Office 2003
has to be installed on the desktop?
