Toolbar won't display on Word 2000.

We have Office 2000 Professional. The toolbar on WORD won't display at all.
I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, defrag, etc. No luck. Nobody we have
talked to has heard of such a thing. Word seems to be the only program
affected.
