I am new to excel for mac and am having problems locating the toolbar containing the autosum symbol. Have looked under view>toolbar and checked each option but to no avail.
Help!!

Right click on the tool bar, and select customize. You can select the auto
sum tool from the list under all commands. Simply drag it to the point on
the tool bar where you want it.

The AutoSum button is on the Standard Toolbar by default & is rather
difficult to miss :) My guess is that you've inadvertently clicked the
oblong button at the right end of the workbook window's Title Bar which
causes the docked toolbars to be hidden. Click that button & see if the
Standard Toolbar doesn't "magically" reappear.
