All of a sudden I have a 'mysearchnow.com' toolbar that pops up when I open
Internet Explorer. I cannot make it go away! Anyone know how to delete it?

I'm afraid you are in the wrong place.

This group is for Microsoft Access. It is not about accessing or using your
computer.

I have a rather novel idea. How about going to 'mysearchnow.com' and
searching for "remove toolbar"?

Good luck.

Thanks for nothing. No need to be so snoody.

Hi,

Doesn't "snood" have something to do with the way some women put up their
hair? Or is "snoody" a cut at "snotty"? Anyway, what determines how
"snoody" one needs to get & how can you tell from where you are?

This newsgroup microsoft.public.access is for issues to do with Microsoft
Access, the Relational Database Product. It gets bombarded by lots of
inappropriate posts because people don't bother to check the selected
newsgroup before they post. People post here looking for help with issues
from ISP to Windows to Outlook and relationships gone awry. I understand
that there is some web based system from Microsoft that has a combobox for
selecting the appropriate newsgroup. Since Access is first alphabetically,
people who don't make a choice ending up posting here. Much better if they
had no default but the instruction used elsewhere " -Make a Selection--"

Some people have set up fairly automatic responses that very politely inform
people of their mistake. Others of us just fire off a reply in the midst of
dealing with valid posts.

Good lock in solving your problem. By the way, Sco's response was intended
to be every bit as polite and as responsive.

Sorry you felt my reply was "snooty."

Despite your feelings, my information was *VERY* useful.

If you followed it, you would have been take directly to an un-install
program for this toolbar.

Thanks Larry.

I'm just wondering why Cathy thinks I use a hair net. I'm mostly bald...

Hi Sco,

The spirit of Roseanne Rosanna Danna lives! Especially here on the
internet. Rarely written but you can almost hear the motormouth come to a
stop and then

"Never Mind"!
