toolbars

I have a toolbar of symbols ls in my personal.xls file. The symbols
appeared when I opend up Excel. The symbols have disappeared and no longer
appear when I open up Excel. The toolbar still appears as a choice in
toolbar, customize, edt.
The file still exists in XLstart. How can I get them to appear.

No they were created by some else. They are tick marks used in accounting.
