Tools added to toolbar not working

I recently upgraged to Office 2004 for Mac. I customized my toolbars
with a few tools that I use regularly, and some are not working.
Specifically, the insert rows, and insuer columns tool. When I drag my
cursor over other tools, a box appears around them, but with tese two,
no box appears, and no action takes place.

I can however insert rows & columns using the pulldown menus.

Any ideas on this.
