tools drop down causes crash

When i select the tools drop down menu my word 2000
crashes. i have updated word i have installed it again
over the current version and i have also uninstalled it
and reinstalled it and it still continues to crash every
other drop down works except the tools.

Have you tried to see if this happens with any of your
other Office Programs? I have the same problem and it
occurs in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. I have checked
all the Community Newsgroups for the past 2 weeks and you
are the only other one that has posted this problem. I
have yet to see a fix.
