Top Table Border Not printing

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Whenever a Table falls at the beginning of a page (or is the only thing in a document) the top border is not printing unless the top border is set to at least 1.5 pts (too dark for legal documents). Does anyone know a way to get this to print correctly?

Have you applied the most recent updates? There was a patch put out that
should fix that.

Yes, we're fully up to date. I had expected the patch to fix it as well, but we continue to see the problem.

Hi Marie:

I have never seen this, so I am struggling here. You don't have a line in
your running header, do you? Is the margin for your running header large
enough to set the text of the running header far enough away from the top of
the text?

Is the file format .docx? Do you have the compatibility options set to
"Word 2008"?

These are things to try...

Hope this helps

Hi John,
No running header, nothing that I can find that interferes. Happens whether docx (with compatibility to 2008) or .doc with custom compatibility options. I've changed every compatibility option, margins and line spacing. Doesn't matter whether it's a table I create or a Quick Table. Haven't been able to find anything that fixes it other than thick lines or putting in a paragraph before. That works for the only chart on a page, but is a pain for a large document where we don't know where the table will fall. If you have any other ideas, I appreciate it. Thanks,

-Marie
