Total remove of Office xp pro

Hi..
How do I remove Office xp pro completly from my computer?

When I installed MO xp, I typed the wrong name in "licenced to". I first
tried to reinstall the program from the control panel; "repair", but I wasn't
able to type it in again. Though this resulted in 300 extra MBs on my hard
drive! Where are these duplicated files, and how can I remove them?

I also tried to remove the program also via the control panel; "remove
program". This gave me only 100MB free space (MO xp was originally 517MB, and
after the repair, another 300MBs in addition). Anyway, installing the program
again required another 500MB, and despite that I this time licenced it to the
correct name, still the old name is visible when I open the programs.

I would be very thankful if someone could help me with this issue. The
reinstallations has caused 700MB less space on my hard drive in addition to
the 500 actual MBs of MO xp. Where can I find these files that must be
unimportant duplicates?

Thanx

Hi, Lou. To fix the "licensed to" name, see
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=290528 "How to change the company name and
user name in Office XP programs". Office XP should have been removed
completely when you clicked on Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs |
Microsoft Office XP | Remove. Did you empty the Recycle Bin after that?

Hi, garfield and thanx for your support

No, I did not empty the recycle bin. How do I do that?

The user name have now been changed, though my greatest issue is the fact
that Office xp pro now takes 1,2 GB of my hard drive, although the control
panel only shows 500MB. I want to completely remove all the files, reaching a
point as it was never installed. I find it stange that every reinstallation
"eats" 300-400MBs of my hard drive. Shouldn't there be a uninstallation tool
to get, or some complete information of how to do this on the MS webpage?

Cheers / Lou

Hi, Lou. There should be a "Recycle Bin" icon on your Windows desktop...
right-click on it, then left-click on "Empty Recycle Bin". If you don't have
a desktop icon, then start Windows Explorer (where Recycle Bin should be the
last entry in the folder list), right-click on "Recycle Bin", and left-click
