Total the number of occurrences of a Group

Let me clarify. I want a control that will give me the total number of
occurrences of
a Grouping. And put that total in the Group heading, page heading or Report
heading. If I use "=Count(*)" in the Control Source it numbers each group
occurance and does not show the total till the last occurrence. I would like
to put the total count in the Header so I can see the total without turning
to the last
page. Total of Group occurances not total of Records in the Groups!
