Touchpad won't function fully with Office 2007

I've configured my touch pad to run with full features but I can't use its
scrolling feature when I'm working in Office 2007 Word or PowerPoint (it
works with Excel).
The touch pad worked perfectly in Office 2003. It also works fine with
non-Office programs.
