Tough Slide Number Question

Basically, I need to create slide numbers in a presentation. I do not want
the slide numbers to appear until the 3rd slide and I want it to start with
number 1. Can someone please help me out? This has been bothering me all

Where would I put this information? I have never entered code into
PowerPoint before. Any help with this is much appreciated!!

Worked perfectly! Now is there a way I can save this in my macros without
having to add it to every presentation?
